PROJECT 1:

WEST FOURTH STREET DOWNTOWN

Project Scope

The West Fourth Street Downtown Project will enhance safety, accessibility, and the overall streetscape within the corridor.

 

  • Planned improvements include:

    • Pedestrian and Landscaping Enhancements

    • Wider sidewalks for comfort and safety

  • ADA-compliant ramps at key locations

    • Vine Street and Fourth Street Intersection

    • Installation of new traffic signals

    • Direct connections to the RTC Biggest Little Bike Network

    • Access improvements for the McDonald’s, Jack-in-the-Box, and Lincoln Center entrances

  • Corridor Lighting

    • Installation of new Neon Line streetlights from Keystone Avenue to West Street

    • Together, these upgrades will create a safer, more inviting environment for pedestrians, cyclists, and drivers while supporting the ongoing revitalization of the West Fourth Street corridor.
